Le Bistrot Paul Bert
your comments review this restaurant
We had to book a week ahesd to secure a table in this local Bistro as it's reputation as a good deal preceded it. The interior is timeless with smoke encrusted wallpaper and old tin signs, and the menu was at around 35 euro. A mixture of the well-heeled and young and fashionable was a good and knowledgeable crowd - the food was well presented and with pronounced flavour - asparagus in season was served with excellent olive oil, and the beef confit (unusual) was pronounced delicious.Meat and fish were both handled skilfully and the cheese board was sumptuous and well kept. One to keep close to your chest.
