Astier

We arrived at Astier without a reservation and was lucky to be able to be accomodated. Although we only ate a main dish (as we had a small baby and time was ltd), it was an excellently cooked meal, as if cooked with great care and love.

The food was expensive in comparison to UK prices but most definately in line with Paris prices, I think it also seemed a little more expensive due to poor euro rate which was 1 for 1 when we travelled. In comparison to the food we ate at other places, Astier was far better and fairly priced.

The ambience was very pleasant and traditional. Waiter was very helpful, cheerful and spoke great English.
