This was our fifth of the "Flo" brasseries in Paris plus another in Reims, and so far none has disappointed.

A discreet frontage hides a restaurant full of character (and of happily dining French people, which is always a good sign). The service was friendly and ever-present without being in the least intrusive and our meals and drinks matched high expectations. We went a la carte and spent 70 euros per head without trying. The daily menu looks better value and I have no reason to think a restricted choice means lower standards.

utterly historic, truly a remarkable restaurant. My friend and I dined here recently and can unequivocally state that this is the best restaurant in Paris. We began with cristal champagne and oysters (the wine list has wines at wholesale prices), we followed this with a chablis Premeir Cru and foie grois. The service was at all times highly attentive, and the atmosphere fantastic. For mains we drunk had an 84 Le Tour, with the house speciality of cote de boeuf. The bill was extremely reasonable considering the wine; I look forward to my next trip

Go to LBSLT each time we are in Paris. Last time we went was to celebrate my Father's 70th birthday, there were three generations of family present, the waiters treated all equally, great food, great environment, thoroughly recommended.

This is quite frankly one Paris's great restuarants; having dined here many years ago and enjoyed the experience immenseley a recent return trip for the day presented an ideal opportunity. On entrance we were greeted with the day's fresh catch of oysters. muscles and lobsters - always re-assuring when eating crustaceons. The dining room is in three sections, with a non-smoking scetion, very refreshing for a paris brasserie. The wine list was superb and extremely reasonably priced; la Tour's and the like at genuinely wholesale prices. We started with oysters and foie grois, both superb. We washed our starters down with a delightful chablis and then moved to a deeper red for our main course of steak, again deleicious. Considering the wine, the the bill was very reasonable. Cannot wait for my next trip to Paris
