Les Deux Abeilles

We opted for this restaurant based on the Lonely Planet recommendation. It was very good. Nice atmosphere, helpful waitress who appreciated our efforts at speaking French but was happy to use English herself. Food was excellent and it appeared to be filled with mostly locals. A good sign. We left full and happy.

I went here for cake and tea after reading good reviews online. Sadly I found the food overpriced and the staff rude.

Les Deux Abeilles is a charming little restaurant. It has a lovely, cozy ambience. I dined there with 3 friends from New York. The food was incredible. I ordered the tomato tart. It was out of this world. The chocolate almond cake was light and delicious! The service was wonderful. The owners and staff were warm and friendly. Very acomodating! We enjoyed the food and hospitality so much we ate there three times while in Paris. I highly recommend it for an authentic French dining experience.
