Bistro de Breteuil

We have been to this restaurant 4 times. That alone should say how much we like it. Each time it gets better.

We have learned to either go early or late because this place fills up fast and the kitchen can get backed up. The servers are very gracious and do the best they can. But with an excellent menu, excellent price and beautiful restaurant, the word has gotten out and people wait in line to get in. The food is great and once they start serving your table the meal is served on a timely basis and always with a smile.

We were recommended this restaurant, which has an excellent reputation.

Its menu is most exciting and a location to match. We booked our table for our last evening in Paris. We were both really looking forward to this experience. We were escorted to our table and given some bread. The restaurant began to fill and everyone was given a menu and starters, except us. We had been totally over looked and were not even given a menu, with the waiters constantly looking around you would of thought we would have been noticed, we found they were not interested so after waiting for half an hour for a menu or a drink we decided to leave so we actually never got to try the fantastic food on offer. As we left we were then approached but as we stated we had waited a very long time without a drink or a menu we were going to go to another restaurant, to no response at all. So even with a reputation of this restaurant of having amazing food, the service should also match, which I must say was very rude, unprofessional, and totally unbelievable, so I would suggest you keep this in mind before going hear or at least have a back up plan in case you experience the same treatment as we did. I would expect better service in McDonalds.
