My wife & I ate there twice while in Paris several weeks ago, and the whole experience was one of the highlights of our trip. I hadn't had real pesto pasta until Le Cherche Midi, and get this: they fly their mozarella in via FedEx from a small village in Italy, yum!
The Labrusco was very, very good, and the ambiance was relaxed, comical and endearing.

Best dinner I've had since arriving in Paris 5 nights ago, and we just came from Italy!. The Food was Great, the Chef was very cool and his energy showed in his food. The restaurant was set up very well. We had the Montepulciano wine, so good we had to take another. This is a place where chefs and lovers of great food can go and have a great time. This is one of the restaurants I will think about when I go back to New York. Molto Bene!
