We just got back from a weeklong holiday in Paris (first time for my wife and I), neither of knowing any French. We went to this restaurant and were astounded by the incredible flavor and beauty of the food. We ate at numerous restaurants in Paris, with most being pretty ordinary but this place stands out for the great staff (no condescending attitude) just happy to help us enjoy our meal

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Paris. The venue is the most unique part of it. The dome is a beautifully ornate aspect of this once-was auction house. All the food is delicious and well-presented and the staff are more than happy (if not proud) to explain the finer details. The only drawback is that the dome seating (and best place to sit) is the smoking section. Non-smokers are stuck in the lobby. However the atmosphere is worth the sufferance and the space means it aint too smoky. Just give it a go!
