We booked the back room of this restaurant for a party of 30 of our clients. It was a disaster, the waiter was unbelievably rude and bullying. He refused to serve the apero as the guests arrived and insisted on serving them all at once when everyone was there. There were problems with the local transport that evening so everyone arrived in dribs and drabs and had to wait to get a drink. He also refused to give out the bread basket until the dishes arrived. There was no pepper or salt on the tables and when one client asked for them he went off in search of them and then slammed down one salt mill and a pepper grinder on the table- one of each for 30 people. I couldn't believe how terrible it was. It was embarassing because there was another waitress who was trying to be efficient and friendly to make up for his rudeness. I think he was actually one of the managers. It was horrendous. They made us pay extra as well for some reason I never managed to understand. If you're coming in a large group just avoid this place they can't cope, and/or they hate foreigners.

My daughter, her boyfriend and I arrived at this restaurant on wednesday 18th August. We waited some 40 minutes for the food ordered with no offer of bread to keep us going. We ordered white wine and originally received red which was sent back. Only one poor waitress was running all front of restaurant tables with little help (but lots of bullying) from the manager. Eventually our meals arrived. My daughter's fish arrived raw on the inside, my chicken tasted as though it had been cooked in plastic, french fries were very cold and obviously fried in old oil, my daughter's boyfriend had ordered a steak dish with sauce which had obviously been left for a while and had a thin skin on the sauce. Fish was sent back and came back cremated. My meal was sent away and I really didn't want to eat anything else from the place. Never ever will we return to that place. We couldn't believe how the female waitress was treated by the manager and his male attendants. As my daughter works for a 4 star restaurant in the UK, this experience will be fed back to all our friends and associates to make sure no-one has this same terrible experience. Please note the waitress was working hard - it was the management which appeared to go wrong.
