Something of a virtuoso of a restaurant, Le Cinq and executive chef Philippe Lengendre received a prestigious Michelin Star from the Michelin Guide just two months after opening. Three years later Le Cinq received it’s third. Chef Legendre combines a classic French culinary approach with new and lighter culinary styles, while always using the freshest regional ingredients. In terms of wine, Le Cinq has access to over 50,000 bottles of wine from the Four Seasons Hotel Wine Cellar. The waitstaff prides itself on impeccable service and the decorum is of course terrifically posh decorated like a French Castle, with the Silverware, Fine China, and Table Linens all made specially for Le Cinq.- October 2004
