Remaining virtually unchanged since its opening in 1924, L’Ami Louis is still noted for its French cuisine. The worn down façade and interior produce a blast from the past feeling among diners. Many of the recipes still used today have appeared in a few notable cookbooks. L’Ami Louis’s biggest claim to fame though is its Roast Chicken which is world famous and though by many to be the best on the planet.- November 2004
