It's near the Tuileries and the Place de la Concorde, so it can be a bit full of tourists but if that doesn't bother you then you'll be fine. Food is authentic though. They do decent classics like French onion soup, tarte tatin, foie gras, etc, and it's remarkably reasonable.

Though busy at lunchtime we had booked a table in the non smoking room which is a charming space, and the service was relaxed but briskly efficient. The aligot was a revelation, and the steak of Salers beef melted like butter. The set menu is a bargain at 23 euros, and most dishes appear competently handled and generous in proportion. An excellent address for central Paris.
