Les Papilles

My wife and I have been to Les Papilles twice in the past year and it is one of our favorite restaurants in Paris. Making reservations is wise but it is a bit tricky because the restaurant serves only one menu each evening (soup, main course, cheese, dessert) and they cannot tell you what they will be serving until two or three days prior. The four course dinner is a prix fixe of 28 euro. On both occassions the restaurant was completely full and the food was excellent. We had very good wine for under 25 euro and excellent wine for 40E. All in all a very memorable experience for a very affordable price.
