Macéo

Maceo is a fine restaurant with understated yet sophisticated decor, and muted light that lends to the ambience. Waiting staff are very professional though service slowed towards the end of the meal. The food though was exquisite throughout - a chilled asparagus cream served with poached egg wrapped in smoked salmon was a light and entertaining entree, a slightly spicy fillet of maigre (fish) with fennel oil was cooked to perfection and the desert was sublime! Eat here!

This is a really lovely French restaurant with helpful staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Tables are nicely spaced in a gorgoeus high ceiling dining room and there was a special vegetarian fixed priced menu.
