It takes more than one trip to Juveniles to get what is happening there. Tim Johnson is a class AAA character and raconteur. Do not expect service that is better than your fraternity because Juveniles is a fraternity( or sorority, if you prefer). The man knows his vino. If you don't look through the boxes of wine strewn about the floor, you will miss the point.. Buy a grilled cheese sandwich to gave with your bottle of Cote Rotie. Bill Duval, Santa Barbara

This place was disappointing on so many levels. If the name of the place is "Wine Bar" - one would expect to fine a great selection of wines by the glass. Sadly, not the case. Only four whites by the glass, three sparkling, and a smattering of roses and reds. They were out of the white I ordered and the sparkling wine my wife ordered. They replaced the white I ordered, a French Muscat with an Italian white. I have nothing against Italian whites, but when in France, it is nice to sample the local goods - perhaps that's just me. Same for my wife - the sparkling wine she ordered they were out of as well - and they only had three choices.

The overall wine selection seems confused and not well thought out - it seems they want to have a couple from every major region and sadly they neglect some of the best French regions all together. The sparkling wine selection was non-French. What about all those wonderful Cremants from all over the country?

We ordered the charcuturie plate which was fine. Meat was fine, the bread was below average - which is surprising that Paris has some of the finest breads in the world.

The last piece of bad news is it seems to be a hangout for friends of the owner who were loud and foul mouthed - who wants to hear someone shouting about t***ies while you're trying to have a glass of wine with your wife? Fine if you're hanging out with high-school boys - not good in a cozy pseudo-wine bar.

Wish we would have gone to Willi's around the corner.
