I found this quite by accident last year in Paris, while with my family, which delighted my dad, who had been before when on business in Paris. A lovely side street off the Champs-Elysees.
We walked in on a Friday evening, in March, with no reservation - the restaurant was practically full, of local French diners, but the staff were fantastic. I turned to take us out again after being asked if we had a reservation, but the lovely waitress said she would see what she could do, and found us a table squeezed into a corner, in two minutes.
The food was traditionally French, and extrmeley good, the wine superb, and the staff were exceptional. Their service was excellent and manner professional, warm and friendly, and patient as I was the only French speaker. A lovely evening and great food !!!
