Great setting in the canal area. Must be lovely in summer time. The place has a real buzz about it with a tiled-floor bar and raised ,dimly-lit dining area at the back. Young enthusiastic staff. My partner's raw marinaded sea bass on ginger was sublime, as was her main of tuna millefeuille. I had a cold meat platter followed by a beautifully cooked duck. Fruit crumble dessert was good. Only the 2 cheese platter was a bit disappointing. Came to c.100 quid which included a good red, water, coffee and 2 glasses of bubbly.
Does get very smokey though. Roll on Jan 2008!
