Ordered half lobster each (2 people) starters, standard starters, a bottle of wine and dessert. Came to E250, well above the £40 pp average on the site reference. Was very overcrowded and waiter did not speak a work of English - and when he realised we were English said 'un moment' and walked off. 20 minutes later we had to ask the same waiter for an english menu. Food was ok but value for money not great. Had fun but more down to the company!

In my experience, restaurants near the Porte Maillot rely on passing traffic/conventions/concerts at the Palais des Congres and nearby hotels to generate business so don't expects more than an average meal at L'Auberge Dab.

On the one occasion I was there, food was average, service was rushed and incompetent, and value for money was poor.

Many better brasseries can be found in Paris.
