La Gauloise

We dined at La Gauloise on two occasions during our holiday in Paris during August 2005.

We were delighted with the menu which had something on it for everyone. The food was invariably beautifully cooked and presented by very attentive and professional staff (especially Francois who looked after us on both occasions very well indeed, our friends who were with us have his picture on their kitchen wall!!. The Oriental Salmon was sensational; and I am hoping to attempt to recreate it at home myself.

We thought the prices were competitive and fair.

We fully intend to be in Paris again during the Summer of 2006 and will have no hesitation in dining there again - probably more than once.

I would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending La Gauloise to anyone who is looking for a meal in a Paris restaurant.
